What safety features does Gelee have?
Six things, each aimed at one of the behaviours LinkedIn says gets accounts restricted. Every new account is warmed up rather than started at full rate, sending is paced and staggered rather than batched, pending invitations are withdrawn on a schedule, nobody is contacted twice across campaigns, and the list is filtered before anything is sent.
Warmup on every account
A newly connected account does not start at full rate. It ramps, and the ramp covers every budget rather than only invitations: messages, comments, InMails, profile views and searches all climb together. An account that gets flagged is re-warmed rather than simply paused and resumed.
This exists because the alternative was tested on us. Accounts connected without a ramp were the ones that got flagged, which is the LinkedIn behaviour "many invitations within a short amount of time" describes exactly.
Paced sending, not batched sending
Every account has a budget per day and the sending is spread across it rather than fired in one run. When several accounts belong to one client their start times are staggered, so a fleet does not look like a fleet.
Invitation withdrawal
Invitations that have gone unanswered are withdrawn on a schedule, because LinkedIn names invitations left pending as a cause of restriction. Withdrawal is paced too, and it respects the rule that a withdrawn invitation cannot be resent to the same person for up to three weeks.
Nobody is contacted twice
Deduplication runs across campaigns rather than inside one, so a person who appears on two lists is contacted once. A blacklist covers anyone who must never be contacted, and blocking somebody pulls them out of live campaigns rather than only stopping future ones.
The list is filtered first
Hard filters run before anything is sent, so people outside your criteria are removed rather than messaged and apologised for. This is a safety feature as much as a targeting one: the pending invitations LinkedIn penalises are mostly invitations to people who were never a fit.
Free routes before paid ones
Where a profile is open, Gelee sends the free message rather than spending an InMail credit or an invitation. Fewer invitations for the same number of conversations is the cheapest safety measure there is.
Common questions
Does Gelee warm up new LinkedIn accounts?
Yes. Every newly connected account ramps rather than starting at full rate, and the ramp covers invitations, messages, comments, InMails, profile views and searches. An account that gets flagged is re-warmed.
Can Gelee get my LinkedIn account restricted?
Any sending carries risk, and no vendor who tells you otherwise is being straight with you. What we control is the behaviour LinkedIn actually penalises: the rate, the shape of the sending, the pending pile, and whether the people being contacted have a reason to accept.
What happens if my account gets flagged?
Sending stops on that account and it is re-warmed from the beginning rather than resumed at the rate that caused the problem.
