The Real Cost of a $7 LinkedIn Outreach Seat

The Real Cost of a $7 LinkedIn Outreach Seat

Dripify, Waalaxy, Dux-Soup and WarmySender all send invites cheaply, but the replies are yours. Here is the reply math before you pick a LinkedIn tool.

Which LinkedIn outreach tool should I buy if I only run LinkedIn?

If someone already writes the copy and answers the replies, buy a cheap sender and keep the rest of your budget. Dripify, Waalaxy at $15 a month, Dux-Soup and Linked Helper all do that job. If nobody has time to answer replies, a sender is the wrong purchase, because the invites go out and the replies sit there.

A connection request takes four seconds to send and a reply takes six minutes to answer well: look at the profile, work out what they actually asked, write something that is not a template. At 500 invites a month you get 100 to 150 accepts, and at a 12 to 18% first-message reply rate that is 12 to 27 people waiting on you. Twenty-seven replies at six minutes each is under three hours, and each one becomes a thread of three or four messages.

Is Dripify actually good?

For solo LinkedIn outreach, yes. The campaign builder is clean, you drag the steps into a sequence, and it runs. Dripify sits in the same bracket as Dux-Soup, Linked Helper, Octopus CRM and Waalaxy(opens in a new tab), which are the tools most people are still running in 2026. What it does not do is reply for you.

So the question to ask before you buy is how many open conversations you can personally hold. Twenty-five invites a day for three weeks is about 375 invites, 75 to 110 accepts and 9 to 20 people who replied and are waiting. Add the ones you followed up with and you are holding thirty threads with no system for remembering who said what. Dripify will get you there in a month and then keep going.

What does a $7 seat actually buy?

Sending, mostly. Founders on r/Entrepreneur keep landing on WarmySender, which does email warm-up and LinkedIn in one dashboard, and the thread calls $7 a seat unbeatable value(opens in a new tab). That is true of the invoice. Three seats is $21 a month. The copy, the targeting, the replies and the calendar are still yours.

Here is the arithmetic the price page does not run. Twenty-five invites a day plus answering what comes back is about an hour a day, so roughly 20 hours a month. At $100 an hour that is $2,000 of your time sitting on top of a $21 bill. We went through this properly in when a cheap LinkedIn automation seat stops being cheap(opens in a new tab). If you have a junior SDR on $30 an hour doing those 20 hours, the seat is genuinely $21 plus $600 and it is the best deal on this page.

How many invites a day is safe?

On a warm account with history, 20 to 25 a day. On a new account, 5 to 10 while it ramps over the first two or three weeks. LinkedIn does not publish a hard daily number, and the ceiling moves with account age, how old your profile is, and whether people accept or ignore you.

Cloud tools like Expandi run from a dedicated IP rather than your browser, which is why agencies prefer them for client accounts. Chrome extensions like Dux-Soup only send while your laptop is open, so a laptop that sleeps at 4pm sends 14 invites instead of 25. Neither setup makes 100 invites a day safe. An agency running twelve client accounts at 100 a day is sending 1,200 invites into twelve profiles it does not own, and the accept rate on volume like that drops well under 20% before any restriction arrives.

What results should a tool actually produce?

Across our campaigns: 20 to 30% connection accept rate, 12 to 18% reply to the first message after they accept, 5 to 8% on follow-ups, and 3 to 5% of total invites turning into a booked meeting. At 500 invites a month that is 15 to 25 meetings. Any tool quoting 60% accept rates is counting something else.

Those numbers assume your profile does not undercut the message. A headline that reads "Helping businesses unlock growth" costs you accepts before the copy is read. Move the accept rate from 20% to 28% on 500 invites and you get 40 more accepts, which at a 15% reply rate is six more conversations for no extra sending. The LinkedIn headline rewriter(opens in a new tab) will do that part in a minute.

Which tool suits which situation?

Pick by who answers the replies. If that is you and you send under 300 invites a month, Dripify or Waalaxy at $15 does it. If it is an SDR team running client accounts, Expandi or HeyReach. If nobody has time to answer at all, an AI SDR is the only one on this list that writes the reply for you.

Waalaxy's $15 starting price and 4.6 G2 rating across 143 reviews(opens in a new tab) make it the easiest first purchase on that list. It is also the one you outgrow fastest, usually at the point where you are running a second persona and want different copy, different follow-up timing and separate reporting for each.

What about comment-to-DM?

Very few LinkedIn tools do it properly. The pattern is: somebody comments on your post, they get a DM within a few minutes, and you reply to their comment publicly once the DM has actually landed. Most tools either DM everyone blindly or require you to export the commenter list and upload it as a campaign the next day.

Gelee runs it as a preset: watch a post, DM each commenter, then post the public reply once the DM is confirmed sent. We compared which tools handle this cleanly in LinkedIn automation tools and comment-to-DM(opens in a new tab). A post with 40 comments is 40 people who read what you wrote and chose to respond, and you reach them without spending one of your 25 daily invites. Done by hand that is 40 profile checks and 40 DMs, which is most of an afternoon.

Who should not buy an AI SDR?

Four people. If you already employ two SDRs, buy them Expandi or HeyReach and spend the difference on better data. If your deal size is under $2,000, the arithmetic does not work. If you have no product-market fit, more conversations produce more polite no. And if you want to sign up tonight with a card, Gelee has no self-serve signup, so pick Dripify.

The setup call takes 15 minutes and pricing is shared there. That is real friction next to a $15 Waalaxy seat you can start in four minutes, and for a founder still testing whether LinkedIn produces anything at all, the $15 seat is the correct first spend. Run 300 invites through it, see whether you clear a 20% accept rate, and decide after that.

So what would you actually buy?

If you are a founder with no SDR, getting eight meetings a month and leaving replies unanswered until Sunday night, buy the thing that answers the replies. If you have people, buy them the cheapest safe sender and keep the budget for data and ads.

The decision is who holds the conversation after the accept, which is the whole argument in the best LinkedIn automation tool depends on who answers replies(opens in a new tab). The $7 seat versus the $15 seat is a difference of $96 a year. The 20 hours a month of replies, at $100 an hour, is $24,000.
