Dripify Works Until Someone Has to Answer the Replies
A plain look at LinkedIn outreach tool categories, where Dripify fits, and why browser extensions, cloud senders and AI SDRs solve different problems.
Is Dripify the right pick if you only want LinkedIn?
Yes, if one person runs one LinkedIn account, you already have copy that converts, and that same person will answer every reply. Dripify is a cloud sequencer with a clean campaign builder: invite, wait, message, wait, message. It sends. It does not think about what came back.
It sits in the same bracket as Dux-Soup, Linked Helper, Expandi, Octopus CRM, HeyReach and Waalaxy, the tools most people are choosing between in 2026. For a solo founder sending 20 invites a day, the difference between any two of them is maybe an hour of setup. Pick on interface and move on.
What are the real categories, so I stop comparing 40 tools?
There are five, and once you know which one you are shopping in the list drops from forty to about four. Browser extensions run from your laptop. Cloud senders run without it. Multi-sender platforms manage many accounts at once. Multichannel platforms add email and phone. AI SDRs answer the replies.
| Category | Named tools | Who it suits | Who answers replies |
|---|---|---|---|
| Browser extension | Dux-Soup, Octopus CRM, Linked Helper | One account, laptop on all day | You |
| Cloud sender | Dripify, Expandi, Waalaxy | One or two accounts, sends overnight | You |
| Multi-sender | HeyReach | Agencies running 10+ client accounts | Your team |
| Multichannel | Overloop, Lemlist, Meet Alfred, ZoomInfo | Teams already running email sequences | Your SDRs |
| LinkedIn AI SDR | Gelee | Founders with no one to answer replies | The software |
HeyReach runs many sender accounts from one dashboard, and Expandi is the cloud option built for a single account sending on its own schedule. Waalaxy and Octopus CRM sit at the cheap SMB end. If you are one founder with one account, HeyReach is built for a problem you do not have yet.
Does anyone actually test these, or just list them?
Some test, most list. One comparison this year ran outreach through 20 or more tools. Another names 41. A third compares 62 across four categories. Nobody sends real campaigns through 62 products in a year, so past about ten entries you are reading feature tables, not results.
What none of those pages publish is the number you actually need: what the campaigns returned. A list of 62 tools with pricing columns tells you what things cost. It does not tell you whether 500 invites produces two meetings or twenty.
What results should I expect, whichever tool I pick?
Across our campaigns: connection requests get accepted 20 to 30% of the time, first messages to people who accepted get replies 12 to 18% of the time, follow-ups add another 5 to 8%, and meetings land at 3 to 5% of total invites sent. Safe volume is 20 to 25 invites a day on a warm account, 5 to 10 while ramping a new one.
Run the arithmetic on 25 invites a day, 20 working days, so 500 invites a month:
Dripify, Expandi and Waalaxy all send those 500 invites competently. None of them changes the accept rate, because the accept rate moves with your headline, your photo and who you targeted. If yours is sitting at 12%, changing tool will not fix it. Rewrite the headline first.
Is WarmySender at $7 a seat the best value?
On the invoice, yes. Founders on r/Entrepreneur keep landing on WarmySender at $7 a seat because it does email warm-up and LinkedIn in one place, and nothing else in the category is close to that number. If you want to find out whether your offer lands before spending anything, buy it.
Then count the hours it commits you to. For a 500-invite month: three hours building and cleaning the list, two hours writing and rewriting the sequence, and 30 minutes a day working through 12 to 27 conversations, which is ten hours. That is 15 hours. At $50 an hour, $750 of your time plus $7 of software. At $100 an hour, $1,507.
We worked through where that flips in when a cheap LinkedIn automation seat stops being cheap.
Which tool handles comment-to-DM?
Very few, and most of the ones that claim it only export the commenter list. You still open each profile and send the message. Gelee's Post Commenters preset watches a post, DMs everyone who comments, and then replies to their comment publicly once the DM has been confirmed sent, so the thread under the post keeps moving.
The order matters. A public reply before the DM lands means the commenter reads "great point, sent you a note" and finds nothing in their inbox. We went through which tools do the full loop and which stop at the export in the comment-to-DM comparison.
What if nobody on my side will answer the replies?
Then the sender is the wrong purchase. Twenty-seven conversations a month sounds manageable until eleven of them arrive on a Thursday you spent in client calls, and a LinkedIn reply that sits for three days is usually dead. This is the point where an AI SDR earns its place: Gelee writes the outreach, answers in your voice, handles the objections you have given it, and books the meeting.
Setup runs about 15 minutes, there is no self-serve signup, and pricing is shared on a demo call. Which of the two you need depends almost entirely on who is answering replies.
Who should skip all of this?
Anyone selling deals under $2,000, anyone whose buyers are not on LinkedIn, and anyone who has not yet had ten sales conversations by hand. If you do not know which objection kills your deals, you cannot write the reply to it, and no tool will invent it for you.
Two more cases where we are the wrong answer. If you are an agency running outreach for 15 clients, you want a multi-sender platform like HeyReach, because you need one dashboard over many accounts and your team already writes the copy. And if you genuinely have two SDRs with spare hours in their week, buy them Expandi and keep the salary you are already paying working.
What would we buy, in one paragraph?
One account, offer unproven, doing it yourself: WarmySender or Dripify, 20 invites a day, four weeks, then look at your accept rate. Offer proven, 500 invites a month, nobody free to answer: an AI SDR. Ten or more client accounts: HeyReach. Existing email sequences you want LinkedIn touches inside: Overloop or Lemlist.
The thing that changes your results is rarely which of these you picked. It is whether the 12 to 27 people who replied this month got an answer the same day.
