11x.ai Just Partnered with IBM. Do You Need Enterprise AI SDRs?

11x.ai raised $50M+, partnered with IBM watsonx, and charges enterprise pricing. But if you're a founder, not a Fortune 500, here's why the math looks different.

What is the difference between 11x and Gelee?

Both are AI SDR companies and they sell to completely different people. 11x is built for enterprise sales organisations: SOC-2, multi-week implementation, custom pricing reportedly from $5,000 to $15,000 a month. Gelee is built for founders and small teams: self-serve, live in fifteen minutes, $2,497 a month.

11x.ai recently announced a partnership with IBM's watsonx Orchestrate, bringing their AI digital workers to enterprise customers globally. They have raised $50M+, built case studies showing 700% ROI (Checkr) and 5x qualified meetings (MMB Networks), and they are clearly winning in the enterprise space.

The question is: does any of that matter if you're a 10-person startup?

11x and Gelee are both AI SDR companies, but they serve fundamentally different markets.

11x is built for enterprise sales organizations. They offer SOC-2 compliance, and their implementation takes weeks. Their products: Alice (email SDR) and Julian (phone agent), are designed for large teams with enterprise budgets.

Gelee is built for founders, startups, and small sales teams. It is self-serve, sets up in 15 minutes, and costs $2,497/mo. It is designed for LinkedIn specifically.

How do 11x and Gelee compare, side by side?

11x covers email, phone, LinkedIn and SMS and takes weeks to implement. Gelee covers LinkedIn properly and takes about fifteen minutes. 11x has SOC-2 and a dedicated team, Gelee has a published price and self-serve signup. The differences track the buyer rather than the quality:

What is 11x good at?

Serious enterprise infrastructure. Alice runs autonomous email with deep prospect research, and Jordan answers inbound phone calls, qualifies and schedules, which almost no other AI SDR does. It orchestrates email, phone, LinkedIn and SMS from one platform, carries SOC-2, and has case studies showing over $1M in pipeline in three months.

+Multi-channel orchestration across email, phone, LinkedIn, and SMS from a single platform.
+Alice handles autonomous email outreach with deep prospect research and real-time personalization.
+Jordan handles inbound phone calls, qualification, and scheduling, a capability few AI SDR tools offer.
+Enterprise-grade security with SOC-2 compliance.
+Proven results at scale, case studies show $1M+ pipeline generated in first 3 months.

Which one is built for a company your size?

That is really the whole question here. If you are a 200-person sales organisation, Gelee will feel lightweight. If you are a 20-person startup, 11x was not designed for you and its price will say so. Neither statement is a criticism of the product.

Market and price point. 11x is an enterprise product with enterprise pricing. If you are a 20-person startup, 11x is not designed for you. If you are a 200-person sales org, Gelee may be too lightweight for your needs.

Channel focus. 11x is primarily email and phone. LinkedIn is available but not the core strength. Gelee is LinkedIn-native with deep capabilities on that specific channel.

Setup and time to value. 11x requires weeks of implementation with their team. Gelee is designed for same-day setup. For founders who need pipeline this month, speed matters.

Self-serve vs white-glove. 11x requires a sales process and implementation team. Gelee is sign up, connect LinkedIn, launch.

Which one actually costs more?

11x, by a wide margin, and for a reason. At $5,000 to $15,000 a month it runs $60,000 to $180,000 a year, which is roughly what a human SDR costs at about $96,000. Gelee at $2,497 a month is $29,964. The 10 to 30x gap reflects a different market, not different quality.

11x at $5,000-15,000+/mo = $60,000-180,000/year.

Gelee at $2,497/mo = $29,964/year.

11x gives you multi-channel, enterprise compliance, and a dedicated team. Gelee gives you a focused LinkedIn AI SDR. The 10-30x price difference reflects a different market, not a different quality level.

A human SDR costs ~$96,000/year, and AI SDR vs human SDR(opens in a new tab) breaks that comparison down. 11x costs roughly the same as the hire. Gelee costs about a third.

Should you choose 11x or Gelee?

Answer three things: do you need SOC-2, do you need phone and SMS as well as LinkedIn, and can you wait three weeks to go live. Three yeses point at 11x and it will be worth the money. Otherwise you are buying enterprise overhead you will not use.

Choose 11x if you are a large sales organization with an enterprise tech budget, you need multi-channel outreach (email + phone + LinkedIn + SMS), SOC-2 compliance is required, and you have the team to manage a multi-week implementation.

Choose Gelee if you are a founder or small team, LinkedIn is your primary outbound channel, you want to be live today (not in 3 weeks), and $2,497/mo fits your budget better than $10K+/mo.

So which one is better?

Neither. The right one depends on whether you already have an SDR team. 11x is the enterprise solution and it is good at that. Gelee is the founder-friendly one. If you are reading a blog post comparing them rather than running a procurement process, you are probably the Gelee buyer.

11x and Gelee are both AI SDR companies solving the same core problem, automating sales development, for very different customers. 11x is the enterprise solution. Gelee is the founder-friendly solution. If you are reading this blog, you are probably the right buyer for Gelee.

11x and Gelee both appear in our ranking of the seven best AI SDR tools(opens in a new tab), alongside the other options worth knowing about.
